CeLIM (Centro Laici Italiani per le Missioni), established in 1954, is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) recognized by both the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union. It is a member of the federation Volontari nel Mondo - FOCSIV and of the Italian NGOs Association.

The mission of CeLIM is to create a hope for a fairer world.

In order to fight poverty and inequalities, promoting social justice and solidarity among people, CeLIM carries out interventions of development cooperation and global awareness education.

In Africa and in the Balkans, through the work of international volunteers and in collaboration with local institutions and staff, CeLIM manages cooperation projects that ranges from the socio-sanitary sector to education, agriculture, micro-credit.

In Italy CeLIM focuses on global awareness education with CeliMondo and promotes responsible tourism.
