In Italy, CeLIM is committed in the development education thanks to CeliMondo, an educational center, launched in Milan in 2000. In this center CeLIM carries out activities with children, adolescents and teachers on different topics such as active citizenship, human rights, migration, environment sustainability, encouraging social interaction and “good practices” from the local to the global context.

Global awareness education

World education is a prospective that looks at the world as a unique and complex dimension in evolution that is fed by richness and knowledge of all people. World education intends to develop in every single person the awareness on its own role in the community through behavior, consumption and action models, by knowing that the new generations will be protagonist of their future.

Playing areas

• In schools. It is possible to carry out world education courses in every kind of school, adapting the activities according to the age of the students and to teacher’s requests. Our goal is to encourage thoughts through manual workshops, elaborations and role-playing games.
• In CeliMondo educational center (in Milan city center): in this centre education experts, a library and an education area are available for both Italian and foreign children and teenagers .
