Personal data will be processed by CELIM for the purpose of performing all operations related to donation, as well as to provide information on initiatives, activities and projects implemented, also thanks to the contribution paid, and to send our magazine, the reports on our humanitarian and educational initiatives and the donor newsletter.
Personal information is collected directly from you when you complete the forms on the site or when you provide information on the phone for fund-raising purposes.
The information we collect in this manner typically include your name, postal address and e-mail address, as well as your bank details if you are giving us financial support. In some cases we may collect information that is defined ‘sensitive’ by the law on data protection: this information will be collected and stored exclusively with your specific consent.
Providing data is optional but failure to provide the data needed to manage a donation may mean that said donation cannot be managed and your request cannot be completed.
Your data will be transmitted to third parties only for the purpose of carrying out the operation you requested and to allow informative material to be sent.
Your data may also be processed by third parties for purposes associated with a donation (such as the bank issuing your credit card); said parties will act as independent data controllers and, even though not specified here, must supply their information document.
The data controller is the Legal Representative of CELIM; the persons in charge of processing data for the above-mentioned purposes are the persons in charge of managing relationships with existing and potential donors, administration, organization of awareness- and fund-raising campaigns, web services and data information and security systems.
It is always possible to exercise the right to change or delete data or to oppose their processing for legitimate reasons or for information or promotional purposes, also limited to one or more means of contact (email and/or texts and/or email and/or phone), writing to celim@celim.it. Unless stated otherwise, the opposition to the processing of data for information purposes will be extended to all means of contact; alternatively you may follow the opt-out instructions in any email you receive from us.
We will retain your information until we receive a written request that you do not wish to receive any further communication from us. Following a written request not to receive any further contact, we may retain some basic information only in order to avoid sending unwanted materials in the future, and to ensure information is not accidentally duplicated.
We will not sell your information to third-party organizations, and will not share your personal information with third parties for their benefit.
CELIM regularly checks its own policies on privacy and security and, where appropriate, reviews them in accordance with the regulatory and organisational changes or as a result of technological developments.
