In 1988 I had just turned 30 and had been waiting for a long time for the right moment to try to share my ideals and social passion with others. With CELIM, especially with Andrea, Sandra, Paolo and many other friends we lived wonderful, difficult, but full of life years.

Under the baobabs discussing Training for Transformation, in the fields pulling pairs of oxen, running to the Chirundu hospital, discussing salaries that were too low, bananas that had to be brought to Lusaka, the reality of a prevailing AIDS and the great prevention work with the women.

Peter, Cylus and Etuelo, Angela, Ester and many others, people who have been part of my life.

Even the fear of an assault with AK47! With Paolo reassuring us because of course they would fire blanks!

We miss you a lot….

Muabuga buti, low!
